
You’re invited to the second ever Cogniti mini-symposium to be held in hybrid mode on Tuesday 18 November 2025.
This is a chance to gather and share your experiences with building and using AI agents through Cogniti. Even if you’ve never built an agent before and are just exploring the idea, we’re sure you’ll find something to inspire you from what others share.
Details
Date and time: Tuesday 18 November 2025 from approximately 9:15 am to early afternoon (Sydney time, UTC+11)
Venue: Hybrid. In-person on the University of Sydney main campus and online via Zoom. If you are registering for in-person attendance we ask that you commit to coming as these spots will be allocated on first-come-first-serve basis; otherwise you are most welcome to sign up for online attendance.
Audience: Any educator who is keen on using generative AI to improve learning through the use of custom AI agents.
Cost: Free, but registration is essential.

Afternoon workshops
Separate registration is required for the afternoon workshops, if you wish to attend them. These sessions are also free and held in hybrid mode.
- Introduction to Cogniti: This workshop will introduce you to Cogniti and how it might help support your teaching and assessments. Through hands-on practice with the platform, you’ll easily build a custom AI agent for teaching that can behave how you need it to. Register for the 2:30 – 3:30 pm session.
- Cogniti masterclass: For experienced users of Cogniti, we’ll take a deep dive into ways to build better agents and share with each other our discoveries and tips. There will also be time for a live clinic where we can review and improve your agent together. Register for the 2:30 – 3:30 pm session.
